CONTRADA TENNA The Marche
The 2003 is the second vintage produced by Nicola Manferrari of Borgo del Tiglio from vineyards purchased in southern Marche in the mid nineties. The Marche Rosso, a 100% Montepulciano, displays great purity of fruit and complexity, representing outstanding value. It was fermented in small open wood vats and aged for 24 months in a mix and of first and second year oak barriques.
