Introduction to Viaggio Vino.

Throughout my years in the wine trade, as an importer with Cerilli & Tondo wine company and a sommelier at top restaurants such as Locanda Locatelli and [Pont de la Tour], I have always learned through personal experience, by tasting and visiting every wine area in Italy.

Great wines come from great people and great vineyards, and I view this as a never-ending journey, seeing wine as a form of art.

For this reason, I am once again doing what I love with a new wine company called Viaggio Vino (“wine journey”), selecting those wines which I believe represent the best examples of people translating the beauty of their environment into fantastic wine.

With Viaggio Vino I intend to continue meeting wonderful people, making long-lasting friendships and uncovering new wines - giving you the opportunity to join me in my voyage of discovery.

After a lengthy period of development and refinement, I am now ready to launch Viaggio Vino’s first wine list, which is attached. But rest assured that my search for fine wines is continuous – so this list is a continually evolving process.

In addition to offering wine for purchase, I will also be arranging winery visits and wine tastings, in London and Italy. Please let me know if you are interested in hearing more about these.
