Pouillon fits into our wine list very neatly as they are a small, family run winery aiming firmly for quality. Based in Mareuil sur Ay, they tend 7 hectares of vines with great respect for the environment, choosing organic enrichment agents and organic products over the commercial ones usually employed. The cuvee de Reserve Brut is 80% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Meunier, made with up to 50% reserve wines. The resulting wine has a persistent nose, and a classic Pinot structure with greater clarity of fruit.
