SAN PATRIGNANO Emilia Romagna
We welcome to our Italian selection this renowned winery from the hills overlooking Rimini in southern Romagna. Its history and achievements are well known and they go far beyond the production of wine. Founded by the iconic Vincenzo Muccioli in the seventies, San Patrignano is a community for the rehabilitation into society of people with drug problems. Through the years, with the help of very forward thinking managers and about 3000 young men and women, it became an agricultural centre that specializes, among other things, in the production of high quality wines from local and international grape varieties. Currently, with the help of Riccardo Cottarella, San Patrignano makes some of the best red wines in Italy and is constantly achieving the highest scores in Italian wine guides.
