details of the wine tasting trips we offer around London and Italy are available here on our website. Unfortunately as this is a new site the details are not as much as you would be hoping for as this is a relatively new venture that i am entering into.
The wine tasting trips that i am considering at the moment are London and Italy. London would be the easiest as it is easy to meet in a location and sit and have fun with newly found friends discussing the flavours that we discover in the new wines that we will be tasting on our wine tasting trips.
The wine tasting trips are going to be a bit harder to organise as we need to be able dates when every member of the party can arrange time off from work and of course we want to be able to go at the best time of the year when the fruits are at their finest and the wine is at its peak so we can all have a jolly good time in beautiful Italian countryside sat perhaps on blankets enjoying some of the wine we have with us and a spot of lunch to help us make it through the day.
There are of course many different places in the world where we can go and enjoy wine tasting trips but London and Italy are close to my heart. Throughout my years in the wine trade, as an importer with Cerilli & Tondo wine company and a sommelier at top restaurants such as Locanda Locatelli and [Pont de la Tour], I have always learned through personal experience, by tasting and visiting every wine area in Italy. Great wines come from great people and great vineyards, and I view this as a never-ending journey, seeing wine as a form of art.
We are sure that you have seen a programme on television where they go on wine tasting trips somwewhere around the world perhaps in france, California or Italy and one of the tasters mentions that they can taste oil or perhaps bark of a tree and you will probably wonder to yourself, are these people crazy or what. But we assure you that after you have been on a wine tasting trip with us you will understand what they saying as you will soon be able to get a grasp of distinguishing between the different flavours that different wines from around the world have.
